This little light does the job without adding extra weight. My only complaint is that the LED was actually too bright for me and would give me a little headache if it was in view. I just put a little duct tape on both sides and that fixed the problem. It still illuminates the pages great. Great value for a little light.

I bought this book light today at the local grocery store. (was planning on buying it thru Amazon, but took my mom to the store for something, but while waiting for her to finish, I found the book light on the magazine rack, so I bought it, since I wanted instant gratification and was surprised to find it there)



The light is great for using with my Kindle (a K1) I bought a Strangedog cover for my K1, and as long as I'm careful putting the light on the cover, it works great. The light is just right for reading on the K1 in dim light or no light.



I had a Mighty Bright light that I'd bought but returned, mostly because it was big and cumbersome and wouldnt fit in the mini-laptop bag that I bought to carry my Kindle in. This light folds flat, so it fits just perfectly in the side pocket of the bag and doesnt take up a lot of room. It looks like this light would be a fairly decent flashlight in an emergency too.



I bought it mostly for it's size and the fact that it folds flat. I'm extremely careful with my K1, so I'm also going to be careful with this light too. Hopefully it'll stand up to the gentle use I'm planning to give it when I need a little extra light. Hopefully when I get the chance to upgrade to the Kindle2, I'll be able to use this light with that ereader too. (not sure what the book covers for the K2 are like yet. They could end up being too thick to hold the clip...I dont know yet)



It should also make a fairly decent map light if I go on any trips.

I recently bought this book light as the new bedside lamps we purchased are not suitable for reading in bed. It seemed like a good idea but the light cast was low . It would cover about a page but not both requiring moving the light constantly as you were reading from page to page. On bigger than paperback size books the bottom of the page was poorly lit. It also did not have a strong clip thus making it a little wobbly on the book. I plan on returning it this weekend

I had bought a similar one of these for night reading, but it only had one light. It was pitiful. I bought this one because it has three lights. That did the trick. It lights up the full page and more. It could be a little easier to clip on, and it's a bit clumsy with the way it swings out, but it works okay, and for the price (sure it could be a little cheaper, but what are you gonna do?) it's not bad. Unless I found a better one for the price, I'd buy another if I needed two. Hope that shines some light on your reading!

While it is very light still not light enough for a paperback. However, it is great for a hardcover in that unlike some other lights it covers both pages without adjusting. It is a bit brighter than you might expect however if you can manage to get it set jus right it won't be so bad.

I like this secondary to my pillow light and it is easier to travel with than the pillow light too, lol.

I bought this to replace an over-priced Itty Bitty Book Light Vol. 2 that died after 6 years of constant use. I found the light on this LED model to be too dim, and an ugly bluish color that was cold and depressing, like reading in a bus station bathroom. The clip did not fit between pages very well, and the stalk was too short for the dim light to shine over two full pages of a normal-sized book. The incandescent light in the IBBLv2 is bright enough and also a warmer, more pleasant tone.

My son wanted a light to read by in bed at night (he's supposed to be sleeping, but hey, reading is a good thing, right?). He complained that the head lamp he already bought with his allowance money was too bright. I looked at local stores and they had this light with 3 LEDs, but it cost $15 or more, and I was afraid he'd complain IT was too bright. Besides, this was MY money we were talking about, and I didn't want to spend $15 to hear he didn't like it. I think we got this one for $5 through Amazon and it works perfectly. I've even used it and think it illuminates plenty. And the price seems more than reasonable, considering the local options.
