This price is right and it works great -- flexible neck is useful and the light quality does not glare. It has run for many nights of reading on the one battery. My only concern is that the plastic clip with eventually give out but otherwise very happy.

I'm not sure why I thought this would be helpful. The light works fine, but because it's not adjustable it's really limited in it's use.



I bought it to use as a book light for my Kindle and for books. It does not work well for either. I ended up buying another light that has a clip.

I've been looking for a book light for a long time. The ones I've tried in the past just don't match up to this handy gadget that my daughter told me about. I've had no trouble seeing both pages with it. I clip it to the back binding plus some pages, enough to make it stable. I like that the light adjusts to my needs and is bright enough to see, like I said, both pages of a book. The battery replaces easily with a twist of the underside battery holder. Don't try to unscrew it from the top, that's where you can make another adjustment of the light placement along with the bendable arm.

I guess I'm not alone! This was a terrible purchase. Obviously they know it's a bad product because they sent me another one without having me send back the one I bought or prove my purchase with a receipt. There is no easy way to open it to put a battery in without breaking off the little pieces of plastic that keep it together, then once they are broken the light is useless. Even tried to duct tape it to use it and its cylinder is so heavy it will not stay in the (hard cover) book spine. This could not be used with a paperback at all. The design and the quality stink!! Now I'm stuck with two!

When I hold this light tightly together, where it broke while I was trying to figure out how to get it apart to insert the battery, I can see that it would be a good light. Duct tape is not working very well. It would have been good to find directions included--they were not. Pictures of how to take off the battery cover would have been good, too.

For everyone that fights with the battery case:



The battery case is part that does NOT have the clip on it.

Just a single cylinder piece is that part you are removing.

I say this so you do not bust up your light.

Grasp the clip to prevent it from moving. then grasp the cylindar with your other hand rotate the cylindar.

It should spring free.

To rejoin the parts match up the slots in the cylindar and the other part join and twist.



The fact that you get to sort this out on your own is sort of, well, heinous.....



Folks that want a BIGHT light should try the great point light THREE LED LIGHT

I find that one too bulky for travel myself. This is SMALL and bright enough for me.

I would not buy it next time even if its offered for free. One has to literally struggle to open the cylindrical case to replace the battery. There are no manuals or instructions that say how to do it. Its made up of such CHEAP quality that it breaks after a few opening and closing of the battery holder.
